Fourth & Final Dance Meeting in Dublin, Ireland ♦ 26th - 30th April 2015

♦ Teachers and Students from Germany, Italy and Turkey will travel to Dublin, Ireland for the fourth and final Take a Chance: Let's Dance! meeting.

Sunday 26/04/2015

Arrival Day -

♦ Arrive Dublin Airport and meet Irish teachers and students

♦ Take Aircoach to Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire

♦ Host families meet visitors at hotel

♦ Visiting students go home with host families

♦ Teachers have dinner and look over the programme

Monday 27/04/2015

First Day - Dance Studio & City Tour

♦ 08.45 Meet at Newpark School and assemble in General Purpose Area

♦ 09.00 Welcome by Principal/Deputy Principal

♦ 09.15 Host students introduce visiting students and present welcome packs

♦ 10.00 Leave Newpark and take DART from Seapoint station to Grand Canal Dock

♦ 11.00 Go to The Factory Dance Studio for Practice, Performance & Fun, and plan for Wednesday

♦ 13.00 Lunch 

♦ 14.00 Walk around Dublin City Centre (with time for shopping after)

♦ 17.00 Return by DART to Dun Laoghaire

♦ 18.00 Students go home with hosts

♦ 19.00 Teachers get together

Tuesday 28/04/2015

Second Day - Cultural Activities

♦ 08.45 Meet in Newpark GPA

♦ 09.00 Take hired bus to Causey Farm

♦ 10.00 Arrive at Causey Farm and participate in activities

♦ 13.00 Eat packed lunch provided by hosts

♦ 14.00 Participate in afternoon activities

♦ 17.00 Return to Dun Laoghaire by hired bus

♦ 18.00 Students go home with hosts

♦ 19.00 Teachers have dinner and chat about the next day

Wednesday 29/04/2015

Third Day - International Dance Day

♦ 08.45 Meet in Newpark GPA

♦ 09.00 Visiting students go to class with host students

♦ 10.30 Meet in GPA and walk to Seapoint DART station, take train to Dalkey

♦ 11.00 Walk up Killiney Hill and have a picnic

♦ 14.00 Return to Newpark GPA

♦ 15.00 Guests arrive in Newpark for Music, Dance, Food & Fun

♦ 17.00 Students leave with Irish hosts for last evening together

♦ 17.30 Teachers meet for final evaluation and reflection

♦ 20.00 Teachers go out for dinner and celebration

Thursday 30/04/2015

Departure Day -

♦ 08.45 Meet at Newpark and assemble in GPA

♦ We all say our goodbyes and visiting friends take Aircoach to Dublin Airport

Back to School

♦ Goodbye and thanks to all our friends, from the Irish teachers and students
